Chakwela Makumbi

Chakwela Makumbi is a traditional harvest ceremony of the Soli people, held in Chongwe District near Lusaka. The ceremony celebrates the gathering of the first fruits and crops, expressing gratitude to the ancestors and gods for a successful harvest.
